Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

Whatever time of day, if a condition is life-threatening please dial 999.

In other situations, when the surgery is closed, for minor health problems and advice, patients are advised to contact NHS Services on 111. (This is a free call even from mobiles as long as you have 1p credit.)

The CCG is responsible for commissioning the out-of-hours medical service.They can be contacted on 111 (free call). Alternatively, on telephoning 01737 762902 out of hours, you will hear a message asking you to redial 111.

The 111 service provides telephone advice and, if necessary, a doctor or nurse consultation, for urgent problems which will not wait until the surgery is next open.

Casualties

The local hospital is East Surrey Hospital, Redhill. This is a District General Hospital with full accident and emergency facilities. Please attend East Surrey Hospital if you experience an accident (particularly if you may have broken a bone) or other medical emergency.
